False Advertizing and bad attitudee

Spar had a competition where you could win a car if you shopped with them and then dropped your receipt in the cars parked in the shop with your name andd telephone number on the back of the slip. Needless to say we shopped there often to enter as many times as possible. On Saturday 2/11 we were informed by friends of ours that our slip was drawn but because we weren't at spar for the draw they gave the car to someone else. How can they do that??? We were told that the winners would be contacted on the tel numbers supplied on the receipts. When I called them to querry this they refused for me to speak to the manager or owner and the laddy that assisted me said sorry there is nothing she can do. Why tekl clients they will be called if they were the lucky winners and then not do that? Is this too. Not a form of false advertising? UNACCEPTABLE not what I would expect from spar at all and definately a ruined relationship!!!
