I bought an indigo blue tunic from Donna Claire and the ink ran! I had blue arms, my french manicure was ruined which I had had the day before, my iPhone cover got stained, the camisole I was wearing underneath the top got stained blue not to mention part of my iPhone cable stained blue!
I called head office and they were very apologetic and after a few calls to quality control and operations manager, Trudie from Donna Clair Sandton called me to request i come in with all the items and a list of damages. I was promised that everything would be compensated for, I didn't expect this and was very happy about this.
To cut a long story short, and several weeks later, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. Trudie said Daniel, the area manager would call me, I am still waiting for his call. Trudie said they would be giving me a R250 gift voucher from the Foschini Group which quite frankly is a far cry from almost the R700 in damages the ink running caused. I was told this because they never had another incident like this. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! Now almost a month later, still waiting. Promises were made & were not kept. Really disgusted.
I got a refund for the garment, obviously, but what about the promise?
