Incredible Connection
Promoted price not honoured

Incredible Corruption promoted a wireless hard drive in the local newspaper but did not honour the price. The manager told us that, as per a Head Office instruction, all stock was to be removed from the floor and complainants' details should be taken down and provided to Head Office. The complainants would receive a call within a week. This was in December 2012. After following up, I was told that Incredible Corruption "regularly" makes printing errors (i.e. false advertising) and they are not contravening the National Consumers Act because: "Section 23 (9) of the CPA actually allows for corrections". In other words, print any price you want, and when consumers walk into your store, just say you are out of stock or say you made a "mistake". Needless to say, the promoted price was not honoured...
