Incredible Connection
False Advertising at Incredible Corruption!!!

A promotion was advertised via various media methods. The promotion was for a 3TB Verbatim external hardrive. Normal price is R1799.99 and the promotional price is R1099.99 - SAVE R700.00. This promotion was only for 27/02/2013. I went to the branch to purchase the item and was informed that the stock was still in customs. I was offered a 3TB Seagate harddrive instead. Normal price is R1699.99 (cheaper than the Verbatim) and I was offered it at the same promotional price as the Verbatim (saving R600 and NOT R700). Hence traveling costs and time wasted. Contacted head office, where I was informed they were sold out??? Not in customs??? Escalated my query and was then informed that yes they were not sold out but still in customs. Do they only advertise to get customers to the shop so that they can sell them a cheaper product at the same price??? Maybe they were overstocked with the Seagate harddrives? So lets advertise a saving of R700 on the Verbatim but sell the cheaper Seagate to clients? Oh... Incredible Corruption does it again!!! Well done.
