Incredible Connection
False advertising by Incredible Corruption!

After searching the paper for an external HDD, I found that 2 places had pretty decent specials listed IN their newspaper advertisements - Incredible connection advertised a Western Digital 2TB 2.5'' HDD for R899! This was a decent price, so i took the day off work to head over there and get one before they were sold out..

When i got to the Pavilion store, I walked around looking for the hard drive section - there were at least 7 or 8 salesman in the not very busy store, NOT ONE of them offered to help, in fact, some turned away when i walked towards them, pretending they had not seen me - i eventually got someone to help and showed him the newspaper advert that id brought with me - he looked slightly perplexed by this, and then proceeded to tell me that it was a mistake, and that they flat out, will not honor it, and if i have a problem with that, I must contact the head office!

I find this to be a disgusting form of false advertising, just to bring people into their store! What a complete waste of my time - then again, they haven't coined the nickname "incredible corruption" for nothing - i took my business to GAME, who honors their specials, mistakes or not.
