Sudden price increase

I am very disappointed in Coricraft. I've recently bought a new home and have gone through Coricraft's catalogue and selected what I want, I ordered my two couches first and was going to order the remaining lounge furniture once I had received the couches as I was unsure at what height I want the TV.

When doing my final check on dimensions on the Coricraft website last Sunday, I discovered all the prices had increased, some drastically. I would have appreciated forewarning of the price increase in which case I would have placed my order immediately. I sent Asanda an email last Monday expressing my disappointment and she phoned me two days later to say that her head office doesn't give her notice of a pending price increase. This is not good business practice, what about customers that are in the process of ordering? Asanda was aware of my second order and she should have been in a position to alert me of the price increase. This is what is expected from a company such as Coricraft.

My second order comes to R 17 000 but as a result of the drastic price increase it is now R 21 000. This is most unfair to me as a customer, only days before I place an order.
