Samsung airco n price goes up in 30 min

I was in the tygervally store and I was told by the salesman the Samsung Inverter Aircon unit was R3600 for the back unit and R1300 for the front and the price that was displayed was correct. I asked why it was so cheap and he told me it was the last of the stock. While asking questions we noticed that the front inverter unit was on another shelf for R1200. So he said he nees to swap the front units because it was in the wrong place. So I left to chat to my wife about it. When I came back the front increased to R3600 and I asked him why all of a sudden then he said the price on it was always R3600. So how is it that salesman are allowed to do that? And shouldn't I get the price we spoke about and saw as we were clearly speaking about the Inverter unit and not the normal aircon unit?
