No feedback in over a month about my damaged shoes

I bought a pair of shoes at the Rosebank shop on 25 July 2013. The heel broke (the glue simply gave in while I was sitting) the second time I wore them, so I returned them to the shop on 16 September 2013. The shop assistant and manager were very helpful at all times, however, I have to date not received any feedback about my shoes. I was informed that the reason I have not received any feedback is because the shop itself is awaiting feedback from head-office on the issue.

It is now October 23rd, which means that head-office has had in excess of a month to sort out the issue. This is shockingly poor service. Europa has failed to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, therefore I would like a refund so that I can purchase another pair of shoes elsewhere.
