Bad attitude and not wanting to refund broken stuf

On friday the 25th of January i decided to visit my local Cash converters where i purchase items from every second week atleast
I decided to spend R2500-OO on a samsung galaxy tab
as i got it the batery was very flat we tested that it rings and internet works i get home and charge it to find out its faulty overheats and screen blanks out
i decide to take it back gave them a call yesterday to confirm that i can and Rudolf mr rude gets attitude and tells me he cant refund me my money not even for a instore voucher
Now its not my fault they bought faulty goods
and claims its Miliceos damage this thing doesnt even have a scratch on it where is the CPA law in this store as i know i have 7days even if the item is in perfect condition if i am not completely satisfied with the product i can return it but now when i want to i get attitude and get told we would have to send it away for repairs? so i pay 2500 for a faulty product? to be sended away? GREAT i contacted the head office was told i would be contacted the same day now its the next day i contacted them again asking whats going on and get told the lady that can help me will only get back to me on Thursday? Now thats bad service
