Poor customer service and no delivery

My husband and I went to Dion Wired to look at what fridges were on offer as ours packed up yesterday (Sunday). On our first visit (we went to all the appliance stores to compare prices), no salesman approached us to ask whether we needed assistance.
On our second visit on the same night, having made up our mind, we again had no salesman approaching us. Surely if you earn commission you'd jump at the chance to assist a customer? Or perhaps it was a case of laziness?

We removed the sticker from the fridge we wanted to buy in order to make the purchase. We then had to wait for a salesman to make out a CDD document because a sale cannot be made without it. This I understand. What I don't understand is why, after I had asked the cashier whether the salesman still gets the commission even after he had given no floor assistance, he's salesman number is still on my receipt?

I am even further annoyed and utterly disgusted that this same salesman failed to inform us that we may only expect delivery on Tuesday. In fact, it was told to us that we will receive the fridge today, being Monday. Now we sit with defrosted meat and an unnecessary housesitter bill - Thanks to Dion Wired staff!
