I am shocked & in disbelieve regarding the poor service a have received from Furniture City & African Bank.

To make a long story short. I will only point out some of my concerns & frustrations.

I bought a lounge set from Furniture City Boksburg in 2011 and signed a 36 months contract with them. The evening of the 22 August 2013 I received a call from African Bank to update their records. I was shocked to hear that on their system, I had a 60 month contract.

I then went to the store with my original (36 months) contract and asked them to correct the mistake.

I have been to the store on 3 occasions, speaking face to face with the store manager. Needless to say all the phone calls I have made... no result.

It has now been 2 months since I first lodged a complaint with the store... and NO RESPONSE!!!

I have even sent a complaint to HEAD OFFICE (Ref nr 194460) and still NO RESPONSE!!!

I have now gone the legal route (Consumer Protection Act) and will pass the bill to Furniture City.

I will also notify the Media and Press regarding this matter to warn the South African public of the illegal method of business and poor service that Furniture City provide.
