Cheesecakes come with mould and insect

I purchased 4 x cheesecakes from Royal Ascot Spar in Milnerton.

When i got home, i found that one of the cheesecakes had very clear green mould on the bottom crust, and there was an insect stuck in the filling.

I was actually utterly disgusted that this happened. And worse, the sell-by date given was the 26 October! They were willing to let those mouldy, bacteria-ridden insect cheesecakes to sit there for another 6 days?

What would happen if a child ate that mould? I cannot fathom how they can charge to much for "quality" goods, yet the items are old and have insects in them? How do i know the butchery is not the same?

Royal Ascot Spar used to be regarded as the flagship Spar for the West Coast area, but now i am afraid, they are going the same route as most other Spars.

Why can Cape Quarter Spar be immaculate and 5-star?

Honestly, the manager on duty, Eugene was very amicable and sorted out the problem for me. He reimbursed me, and gave me some products free so i can go home and make my own cheesecake. He also took all the cheesecakes off the shelf.

Not only this Spar, but others, need to seriously have a look at their quality and standards.
