I logged a complaint with woolworths and have not recieved any feedback at all. They clearly do not care about their customers.

I called their financial services line and requested a credit limit decrease. I have always been up to date with my installments and am a good customer. With all of the increases in petrol, e-tolls, electricity etc. I thought it would be wise to decrease my limit and still have the benefit of the woolworths card as it comes in handy when cash is low.

On calling the financial services number 021 411 5000 on the 9th of October 2013, asking to decrease my credit limit. The consultant started asking me for my details and the said that they were offline and I needed to call back within 10 minutes.
I called again with the same request and the same consultant Saadiya said that I should fax a letter stating that I would like to decrease my limit.
My question is why was I not told the first time when I called that I needed to complete the letter?
I asked her to close my account instead if the limit could not be decreased and she proceeded with my request. I cannot believe that you would rather close the account with such ease than to decrease the limit!!
