Refused to sell a product

I went to Baby City, Retail Crossing in Wilgeheuwel to buy the Movement Monitor (Angel Care AC300) and to my surprise I was asked if I have twins and I said No. The cashiers and "supervisor" refused point blank to sell it to me because they were told it is for twins. Now that was first time I hear of such, the other one went as far as telling how bad an idea it is to insist on buying that one. I mean the box is clearly written that, it is ideal for twins not it is definitely for twins.
and what business do they have to refuse selling a product, it has nothing to do with them. If I want a product, it has nothing to do with them, whoever told them that nonsense must go back to school to learn to read. There is nowhere written on the box that it must be sold to parents with twins only. But their attitude was very bad. My sons Nurses and Paediatrician recommended the Ac300 since we do not need other products.
Now for a bunch of cashiers to refuse selling a product is just nonsense. But I bought it at another store, no questions asked.
