I was given the incorret medicine

On the 26th i went to dischem, as my daughter had a flu and running nose, i went to the self medication section, i explained clear to the lady who was assisting me what was the problem, i was with me my daughter, n i fully explained to her she was 13 months, then she prescribed Rinex cough mixture and Bisolvon, i trusted everything she gave me as she was working for a pharmacy. when i get home, when i read the instructions, its stated#Do not use Bisolvon Chesty Forte in children under 6 years of age.
Use in children 6 - 11 years only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner. Children 6 - 11 years of age: 5 mL three times a day.
Adults and children over 12 years: 5 mL three times a day. This dose can be increased to 10 mL three times a day for the first 7 days, y didnt she recoment Bisolvon for kids? but really now??? we talking abou my babey's health... so i need to know what can i do with the medicine? dissapointed indeed...
