Brand new LG Washing Machine with a damaged valve

To whom this may concern.

I regret to express my utter disappointment in the service department of Makro (Woodmead).
I had purchased a brand new LG washing machine (T1308TEFT0) from Makro on Saturday (28-09-2013.) The following Saturday night, I had pre-set the machine to start a wash cycle on Sunday morning. I was utterly flabbergasted when I awoke on Sunday morning and had stepped into a body of water that had pooled in my passage floor, due to a leak in the washing machine! I contacted the store immediately to complain. It has been 5 days and there is no interest in customer satisfaction. A representative from LG has come in to inspect the machine, and has concluded that the valve on the machine is damaged.

I have already complained to Makro, yet procedure is too slow, and they have not been keeping to their promises.

I need some sort of compensation for my damaged wooden laminate floor, as well as a replacement machine asap. I am stuck at home with dirty laundry and a floor that looks putrid by my standards - doesn't make the feeling of being at home very comfortable does it?
