My pool chlorinator was sent to them for repair. JJ had the repair done after I had specifically told him not to proceed. I sent him a legal letter (I am a lawyer) advising him he was in breach of Consumer Act and I wanted my chlorinator back so that my insurers could assess the problem and approve the quote. He was very unco-operative and said he would have to send it back to the agent to "unrepair". He refused to give it to me and sent me an insulting email saying that I should get advice from a competent lawyer and not make a fool of myself. I mailed this to my husband who replied that JJ needed a coursein customer relations. JJ emailed him with the reply "-you-you-get what you deserve." I phoned the agents the next morning and told them not to "unrepair" the unit and send it back and I will pay. When I emailed JJ to ask when I could collect the repaired chlorinator/have it installed he replied that I had to come and pay him R 2 655-00 cash because"all lawyers are a bunch of who hide behind a Black Corrupt Constitution." He called my husband and myself. He refused to release the chlorinator or send his guys to install it unless I paid R 2 655-00 which I did.
