A month ago I received an email from [Email Removed] (Edgards lawyers) saying that I owe Edcon R900.00-odd for an account which I thought I closed 13 years ago.

Apparently my account was never closed and it has been earning interest for 13 years.

I promptly paid the R900 but this time I asked for written confirmation that it is REALLY closed.

Edgars sent me an email saying they confirm the account is fully paid and I should contact their call center to close the account.
The call center refuses to close the account until I pay an additional R90. (which the accounts department does not know of)

Apparenlty there is a breakdown in communication between Edgars Internet Team & their lawyers & the Edgars Call Center.
They are obviously not accessing the same database.

People Responsible :

Miss Rumbidzayi Mapfumo (confirmed my account was fully paid on 20 Septmber 2013)

Andrew Kirsten - [Email Removed] - this guy simply does not answer any emails - he only sends them.

Edgars call center (I cannot pronounce the person's name)

So I paid the account in full on 19 September.
Requested confirmation & closure on 19 September.
Sadly I am ignored.
