I have just walked out of Canal Walk's @Home Livingspace - disgusted with their lack of service and lack of interest in customers. Not for the first time - but definitely had it now, will NEVER go back and have posted this on my FB account as well. Within a few minutes one of my friends replied and said same thing happened to her.
It is so frustrating to walk in, find something nice, hunt the floor for someone to come and assist, have them disappear and come back with e.g. the latest response: 'we only have 4 of those mirror tables and they are in Joburg' - then a blank look which says: 'PLEASE PLEASE don't ask me to order it down to Cape Town for you'. So I say, 'okay, thanks - bye' and just get a nod and it walks off.
Only twice have I insisted (yes, insisted!) on ordering - 3 office chairs & a desk and then picked up from the depot. It seemed like they were doing me a HUGE favour,
Ah well, I'm sure I'll find what I'm looking for elsewhere - clearly TFG do not need my business. Lost about R25k worth from me so far...
Oh and PS, please skip the standard automated response. I've seen in all the other complaints - it's lip service and means less than nothing by the looks of things!
