Granite City
Do NOT use Granite City as a Supplie

I ordered a piece of granite from Granite City, on the 3rd of September 2013 (Monday) and was told that I would receive it by the end of the week. On the Friday, I called and was told that the person I needed to talk to was in the factory and she would call me back. She never did.

I then called the following week to find out where my granite was and they promised I would have it by Wednesday and that they would call me on Wednesday when they are on their way to deliver it. They never did call me.

So I called again on Friday and was told I need to wait a further week because of power problems. Since then i have called back half a dozen times and each time I am told that it will be delivered soon.

Finally on Friday 27 September, I called again and they said that it was cut and ready to go out and that the driver was loading it into the delivery vehicle and promised I would have it soon as he was leaving in 5 minutes. Well, two hours later and it had still not arrived. So I called, yet again, and they had closed up.

They are an absolute disgrace and liars. I strongly recommend that nobody uses their service. There are plenty other suppliers. Please stay away from them!!!
