I've been with Edgars for approximately 4 years now, Last month (august 2013) and I cannot recall the dates, as I do not have the paper work in front of me now, allowed a to renew a card in my name with the claims of it being lost or. This person purchased goods that amounted to thousands of rands. I'm so angry with the matter and I do not want to sweep this under the carpet as I had to go back and forth, running around with paper work which lead to me staying out of work. I wish that renewing a card was as difficult as reporting activity. The matter has been dealt with fair enough but the stress I had to be put through was utter nonsense and could have been prevented had edgars had better processes in place to prevent!!! I mean I still have my card yet it was reported, renewed and given to someone to do as they please. Now I haven't bought on this account for quite some time, with the idea of only making purchases when it is needed. I feel edgars have let me down. I don't even want to shop there anymore, there customer service is just as as there processes. I've got a clean credit record but you guys are out to mess that up.
