My husband bought Whirlpool washing machine 23 months ago at Game Somerset Mall. Since 1st month I experienced problems e.g.dirty cloths and dirty drum. Complaint lodged through Game Kuils River to Whirlpool technician, who found nothing wrong every time. 4th Complaint lodged a week ago after he inspected machine once again, without finding the problem. I was told by Unilever representative to use liquid detergent, rinse machine with descaler every few weeks and not to use softener, but none of above made a difference. Game Kuils River refuses to take it back because Whirlpool will not refund shop if technician does not inspect machine once again and give OK to return it to the shop for a refund. Technician did not show up since complaint was lodged Monday 16th Sept. Machine left marks on clothes which I cannot remove at all. I do not want machine anymore. Technician tells me he also has marks on his clothing since he switched to liquid detergent. I get the impression that the blame is shifted to the detergent in order to move it away from Whirlpool. I will not settle for less than a refund as the machine is not doing what I paid for.
