I got mugged and they took my phone I did not worry much as I had insured it with edgars. I reported it and was told to wait a week. I did that and when I went back I waited for 3hrs during my lunch hour just for them to tell me the form was not processed. I persisted and a supervisor came and magically my form was processed. We (mother and I) were told to pay R350 to get a new phone which I was fine with it. I was then told that the account was owing R160 so I cannot get the phone I paid for it. So I wanted to take a blackberry 9720 which amounted to R2600, the guy told us we must pay R600 cash to get the phone when by the way the edgars account has enough buying power of R6000 plus. Its not the 1st time this has happened when my mother lost her phone edgars sandton cellphone department gave her issues to me the staff there seem not to care about customer or they don't know what they are doing cause one person will refer you to the other till you lose your temper I pay the account monthly and find there service unacceptable. I work in the same industry no matter what customers always come first they need a lot of TRAINING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.
