Ethekwini Tyres
Disgusting service from Ethekwini tyres in Jacobs!

I purchased a few tyres from EThekwini tyres in June, two of them were rethreaded tyres. They offered me a 3month guarantee on the tyres. On 13 July, the one tyre's rethreaded band stripped off and I phoned them to tell them. When I went to Durban again (as I live in Harding) I took the tyre back to them for a refund, which they gave me, possibly because I was buying another 4 tyres from them that day.

About 3 weeks later the second tyre ripped, and I did not inform them, as previously there was no problem with the refund process. On the 31st of August my wife took the second tyre back for a refund, as she went to Durban that weekend. The service that was given to her was disgusting. The one owner, a very Butch white man, intimidated her so badly. He refused to give her a refund swore at her and told her to get off his property and come back with the police if she wanted a refund. She left his premises and as she was driving off, a man who identified himself as his "partner", almost drove into her car with his silver Audi with no number plates.

She returned with the police, and was not given the refund. I wonder if all their customers are treated so poorly or just non-whites?
