False promises and rude unhelpful staff!

Edgar's have been sending sms's advertising promotions due to their revamped stores. It specifically states that you spend R600 and receive R100 back on a gift card. Yesterday I went to the Cresta store twice, first with my husband and then back without him. All together we spent approximately R3000. The issue arose when the staff refused to give me a second gift card as they claimed the rule was one per a customer. The signs say no such! Secondly when I went back, using my own credit card and own thank you card, they claimed it's still the same person. Can someone please explain to me how my husband and I, with two different I'd numbers, two different cards result in being one person. Perhaps the sign should read one per a couple, or family? Teddy refused to call the store manager, saying he was in charge of the promo and would not give me another. I insisted. This isn't the first time I had issues with this store. On speaking to the manager, he then realises that after all I was not only entitled to a second gift card but many more. A person can swipe for the R600 as many times as they want. Technically, I was entitled to at least 5 gift cards, but wasn't allowed.
