On 3 September I placed a complaint about this lot. I called the number given in all the responses to Edgars complaints on this forum. I was promised that I will be called back, to date nothing. Edgar is the leader in bad service/customer relations. The norm for retail is 79% over a 12 month period. Edgars is a whooping 15% more than the retail average. In my opinion, the only reason why Edgars survives is because many cannot afford to pay cash for their clothing and therefore they endure this level of service. My niece who is a single, young parent, hard working has to pay an account that was clearly every month while Edgars initially accused her of perjury, that she knew the person who bought clothes on her account. She laid a charge against the person, she said that the person was brought to the house by her brother unknown to other family members and she did not know the person in an affidavit, Edgars still concludes that she knew the person. She never meet the person. Edgars assistant never checked the signature or verified the identification of the person buying at the store. Record would show my niece NEVER bought for these amounts or at that store.
