I had a account with Furniture City. I paid all my instalments EFT I did not signed a debit order. On 30 Aug 2012 was my last instalment I asked for the settle amount. I paid the full settle amount 30 Aug and asked Furniture city to close my account. I send faxes and phone them to close my account. From 31 Aug Furniture city keep on taking debit orders from my account every month not the same amount or the same date and my bank kept on reversing it.
I'm trying 6 month to sort this out and I spoke to 15 people at Furniture City call centre/African Bank manager's. In Nov 3 managers phoned me it's been sorted out. On 24, 25 Jan African bank phone me again I ow them money, they never closed my account. I got proof I paid the settlement amount. I did not sign a debit orders they just taking money from my account after my account was closed. They sending me a sms's they are going to take legal actions. How can I stop them from taking money out of my account and them to close my account as they were supposed to do on the 30 Aug. I got the Names, Dates, I got the Names, Dates, Time when I spoke to Furniture City as from 30Aug, and still they just do NOTIHING to sort this out
