Bad meat in Lamb pack

On 6 September 2013 i had THE most bad shopping experience in Checkers. I asked the butchery manager/ controller David if his staff can re-wrapped my lamb pack cause the plastic was broken and he made a joke of me of stealling a chop, i was speechless and just stood there waiting for the butchery lady to give the lamb pack.

While looking at the wors David told a customer next to me that he lady whom helped me is stupid. How can someone badmouth his staff like that. When i got home to braai the chops i open the lambpack and clean the chops i smell something bad it was the pieces at the bottem.

I immediately phone the store to tell them about the bad meat the reaction was poor cause i had to hold on for someone to help me for a long time, after several calls the Butchery manager David phoned back and then the call was cut and David never phoned back after that.

As i am in the retail industry i know that expired stock does not get sold to customers but gets disposed in an appropriate manner.
Monday i will most definately lodge a complain to the Health Inspector, Mr Kobus Griesel and the Food Safety Auditors, Aspirata
