Still waiting on my refund. Where is my refund?

Bought a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses on Friday morning: 23 August 2013. Returned the same pair of sunglasses on Friday evening: 23 August 2013 for a refund, since the sunglasses let in too much light around the edges and weren't suitable unless I wanted my corneas burned out (lighting in the shop of course perfect so this problem wasn't obvious to me when I spent 45mins trying on glasses).

I was given a credit receipt, but the funds have still not reflected in my account. I was patient and only phoned on Monday 2 September to find out what had happened. I was told I would be phoned back from the Blue Route store. I wasn't. I phoned the following morning and received an apology and was promised that the funds would reflect soon and sorry for the delay. The following day my bank details were reconfirmed, even though they were confirmed on 23 August (?!).

5 September: where is my money? Wonderful how companies love taking money but can't bear to give it back.
