Discrimination due to disability

I am an Autistic person, which is a disability affecting communication etc. The manager of the Hercules Superspar, Barry was made aware of it on several occasions.

I am constantly harrased by security officers at the entrance and even followed in the shop due to my autism related behaviour.

On 3 September 2013 I entered the shop when a security officer confronted me and wanted to take my bag, that contains my medication and ipad. I was not willing to leave it with him and would rather be searched on entrance and exit. It was during such previous visits that I explained my situation to Barry.

On this occasion he refused to listen me and banned me from the shop.

I would suggest that the management of this relevant Superspar undergo sensitivity training in regards to Autism.

The relevant security officer did not as required by law have a visible PSIRA registration certificate.
