Card Cancellation after all my support

On 22 January 2013 I was in Cresta centre enquiring about my available credit as I wanted to increase it and make a big payment. Upon my enquiry the cashier informed me that my account has been closed/cancelled. I have had my MrPrice Money card for many years and have purchased and paid furniture, clothes, bedding etc. Last year I was unemployed for a couple of months and yet I still kept up payments at intervals and currently MrPrice Money owes me money as I have OVERPAID on my account yet they closed my account for payment reasons.
I really love the product and would like to still purchase goods on a regular basis, but now I must apply for a new account and forfeit my years and years of purchases and regular payments.
Why am I being penalised like this, I would like to build up credit for when I need it and then they CANCEL my account!!! This is poor logic and why is my business being shown away while I want to give them business or do they have ENOUGH business that I am just a simple cardholder - SORRY;;;;WAS!!!
I expect better feedback than poor excuses!!! This is pathetic!!!
