Disappointing Service

Last week Thursday I called the Makro in Alberton to ask about the availability of stock of a Samsung TV that was going on promo. I was told that there was plenty of stock and if I came in on Saturday there will definitely be stock. Furthermore, the sales person assured me that he would reserve a TV for me. On Saturday morning I drove from Sandton to Alberton to get the TV but was told that they could not reserve the TV and that they were out of stock across all Makro's. Furthermore, the sales assistant offered to sell me a TV that a previous customer was returning at the same price! Had I known that the TV would not be reserved, I would have purchased it on Thursday. This has really inconvenienced me and I am really disappointed at the service. Makro cannot be making false promises to customers. This type of service is really not allowed.
