Wrong amount debited on my cheque acc

Last month my account was in arrears an agent from Dion wired called me i told her i do forget to pay my account so for convinience can they arrange a debit order to my account, I told the agent concerned that i m aware of the missed payment and i will make a payment for the difference only my monthly instalment of 650 should be debited to my account on the 25th of every month
On the 25th Dion debited my account with 1400 i called their call centre with this query and they told me that it will not be reversed... i want to know who gave them debit authority for 1400?
