Old rolls used in sandwiches???!!

Just bought a ham and cheese sandwich @ this store only to find the roll must be @ least 3 days old?? Literally ate the cheese and ham and threw the bread away... seriously should I rather purchase sandwiches from the WW a few steps away to ensure I purchase fresh products?! Why are old rolls that have not been sold used for the deli sandwiches??!! Shocking!!
