Pick 'n Pay
Pick 'n Pay staff laziness cost me money

Shops, Products, Services

I popped into Pick 'n Pay at The Workshop just after 8am this morning to buy prepaid ADSL. As always the cashier does not know what I want and she called a supervisor named Thobile. Between the two of them they could not figure out how to navigate their system to get me my ADSL voucher and decided to take the easy way out. They told me that they were OUT OF STOCK. What hogwash. This is a virtual product that not stocked on shelves and it doesn't get manufactured anywhere so that raw materials would be in short supply - ever.

I then had to spend money to get to the Musgrave Pick ' Pay, where the cashier named Joyce Brown also did not know what I wanted, but she ventured into the system and found the Axxess vouchers.By 08:36 I walked out of Musgrave Pick 'n Pay happy with my 2GB ADSL voucher.

The laziness of your cashier and supervisor meant I had to take a taxi to Musgrave Centre to buy the voucher, take a taxi back into the CBD and then back home to Asherville. I also came back after 9:20am - late for a 9am meeting. So I had to spend more money because Pick 'n Pay staff lacks product knowledge.

Not fair.
