Store asistant refuse to give refund

I bought a pair of sandals at adidas store in acces park but did not fit very nice it was R200
Was not on sale.took it back at adidas store in blueroute mall when I got there the sales lady never had smile on her face was very moody told me she can't exchange or give refund if it was on sale but the slipper was never on sale she took her on time on the computer to check as if if she did not want to look it up!!! eventually after how many minutes past by she discovered that she was not on sale and and she must refund me after that she discover she did not have money her till which I found out is a cause how can she not have money in her till she told me to come in next two days to fetch money I jus think adidas should take they staff on training on how to be more friendly and approach customers they got no skills especially the blueroute store I will never go and purchase anything there its not first time that same asistant had that atitude they moody and to top matters she walked out after me to see which way I'm going
