Refusal to honor commitment from supplie

Since OK Furniture is a division of Shoprite and OK Furniture does not respond, I have to voice my issue here.

On the 11th May 2013 I purchased an Edblo mattress@ OK Furniture in Malmesbury.
Last month I noticed that there is something wrong with the mattress and contacted the store. They in turn contacted the manufactures and lodged a claim with them which was approved on the 8th August with ref no CLG4TB and it can be exchanged. Apparently the problem with the mattress is that it is not a mattress for every night sleep, but rather one that should be in a guesthouse or a hotel. When the sales agent (Marcus) from the Malmesbury store contacted me on the 13th, I made arrangement to go to the store and choose a different mattress. One that is suitable for everynight sleep. I also decided to take a base with it. The price for the mattress base is R4999.00 and the refund for the "broken" one is R2199. So I am spending an additional R2800 at the store. On the 13th, I was told to bring in my tax invoice that I received when I purchased the bed. On the 14th they now also want the cash till slip as well, which I don't have. They refuse to exchange without the till slip. What must I do.
