Woolworths
Gift card not returned

After going through my receipts today I noticed that purchases made at Woolworths using my gift card, the full amount was not deducted and there was still a minor amount owing to me. The card was also not returned to me. Yesterday the cashier (Frans Morulane) failed to use the full amount of R95 that was available of the card. She used only R90 and did not return the card. Today the cashier (Christinah Maluleka) failed to use to full amount of R59. She used only R50 and did not give me the gift card back, in fact I had to pay a difference of R99 still owing. I think this absolutely ridiculous practice. Is this a policy of Woolworths? The amount may be minor but if I was short of R15 at the till, Woolworths would not release the item to me!!
