Enough of the bad service!!!

On Thursday the 8th of August I once again took a chance on venturing into my local Pick'nPay - something I have tried to avoid lately. At the vegetable weigh in counter the 2 gentlemen were so engrossed in their own conversation that they did not even notice and acknowledge me standing in front of them with arm outstretched just waiting to be served. I actually put the veggies on the scale, but still no reaction. Eventually, I had to prompt them verbally to weigh my 6 or so bags of produce. Alas, the bad service did not stop there. When I got to the cashier, she found my bag of potatoes to be lacking of a price label and in an accusatory tone instructed me to go back and have it weighed. She did not once offer to get someone to do it. In the end, I told her to then keep the potatoes as I did not want to leave the till with half my shopping processed already.
This experience was a disgrace!!! Even worse, it was not an isolated incident but a regular occurrence. I have now had enough. Checkers and Spar here I come. At least there you are greeted and helped and also appreciated for spending your money.
