DAMAGED APPLIANCES DUE TO POWER SURG

1. In that or during October November 2011 my wife purchased a Sansui Plasma TV as well as a Sansui entertainment center from Bradlows Potchefstroom.

2. During mid May 2013 our area of Dassierand was hit by power surge whereby this appliances were damaged (burnt). We reported the damage to the store and were advised to make an affidavit at the local SAPS, which we did and submitted to them. I personally transported a lady working with claims to come and inspect the appliances. Each time we do inquiries we were told that they are still waiting for a certain form that we must fill in. At some stage we were told that the TV licence was not valid.

3. On the 23 July 2013 I contacted Bradlows Customer Care and explained to them the whole thing from the beginning. On the 29 July 2013 another person arrived at my house to do inspection for the second time. Since he disappeared on that day and no feedback until this day (07 Aug 2013)

4. We feel like terminating the contract with Bradlows due to the fact that we are paying for the services of the appliances that are serviceable, on the other hand I am paying for the rental of a TV set as we cannot stay without news.
