Paying for something I can't use

I went there to upgrade my cell phone contract. The lady there said my new airtime and data bundle will be available from the first (which is today). When I checked my balance this morning, there's nothing. When I phone Vodacom to find out where the airtime and data bundle is I am paying for they say that they did give it to me. I said that I checked and there is nothing, the guy says that it is sent to the 082822 number. For 2 whole years I don't use that number, I didn't even give that number up when I upgraded my contract, why did the lady at Game go and log the system to put the airtime and data to that number?? Now I have to go there AGAIN to fix this. Why do I have to if I didn't tell her at any stage to do that. I gave the number I'm using up several times when I upgraded on Sunday. I don't live close to Game. I go there once every few months. So now I am paying for something I can't use.
