No Honesty from Employees

I went to Makro Ottery on 27 July wanting to purchase a Sinotec 42" TV. Got to the store and saw a 46" Sinotec for R500 extra. I enquired by the sales person if the TV was available and they advised it was the last unit. I had no problem accepting the TV, but then the guy comes back and says the stand and TV remote is missing. He phoned pther stores but this TV was apparently the last 1 in stock anywhere. My husband enquired if we could get a discount but we were told no. So where did the stand and remote disappear to? I secondly enquired about a Phillips airfryer. On the shelf it said the black ones were out of stock so I asked hubby to ask a shop assistant. He came back advising the guy said no other store has stock and they do not know when they will be getting. I decided to call myself to another branch. Low and behold, Montague Gardens had 1 available. I was so angry and upset about this that I left the store. You guys are selling TV's without stands and remotes and lying about not having things in stock so that your store does not loose the sale. I would now rather spend that extra petrol to drive to Montague Gardens because good customer service cannot be bought.
