Terrible service at restaurant

We went to Food Lovers Market (Stellenbosch) on 28/7/2013 for lunch. Upon entering the restaurant we noticed that a number of tables were available but uncleared and still loaded with dishes. We were shown to a table but later had to get up and fetch the menus ourselves. After waiting 10 minutes for our drinks order to be taken we decided to leave and rather go to the sushi belt as it seemed that that would have been the faster option. We also noticed that two other tables got up and left as they received no service in the restaurant either.

Whilst having sushi our drinks orders were never taken. We asked the staff at the sushi station whether someone would be attending to it and we were informed that a waiter would be there shortly to take drinks orders. That never happened.

Hands down the most dissapointing experience in Stellenbosch to date. Either this restaurant is severely under-staffed, or the staff employed are heavily under-trained. Either way, this restaurant knows exactly how to disappoint a customer.
