RETURNING OF GOODS

I recently bought a mens watch as a birthday gift. Things didn't work out so now I need to return the watch. I initially bought the watch from the Woolworths in Rosebank as I was in the area but now I'm spending a few weeks in the south. I tried returning it to both the Woolworths in Southgate Mall and the Glen Mall and both times I was giving some RANDOM excuse as to why I can't return it and that I must go back to Rosebank. I am completely annoyed. How is it that I can't return a Woolworths branded item-i have the receipt and its in the box, undamaged-to ANY Woolworths strore??!!! I mean SERIOUSLY. When did this start. I would've spared my breathe and energy if I knew this. What a inconvenience. Absolute!!
