I have a personal loan with Woolworths whereby they debit my installment monthly and one also has an option of paying extra at the branch. On the 06th of June I made a payment of R5000.00 towards my personal loan account and called them a few days later to request that they allocate my payment to a specific loan, I was told that the it was late if month and I musyas the statement is already sent out for that specific month and i must call 2 days after the debit order datea, i went to westgate 2 days after the debit order date and called them to request for the extra payment to be allocated to a specific loan, the consultant was so rude and told me that i need to send a proof of payment before they can allocate the money i expalined to her that i called 2 days ago and nothing was said to me about the proof of payment, and why do i need to sed a proof of payment if the amount is showing on their system?? all i needed them to do was allocate the money, I told her since their calls are recorded she can get her manager to listen to the recording to prove that the previous consultant never said anything about the proof of payment and can a manager/supervisor please call me back
