My mom has a furniture account at Joshua Doore. Everything went smoothly regarding signing her up as a client. She then went ahead and purchased a few items from the Parow branch. Im the eldest son and assist my mom financially. When i got home I had a look at the items purchased and it looked like damaged stock. I called the sales rep and advised him regarding the concerns and told him that he needs to send out someone to have a look as the goods are not in a new condition. I have contacted the sales rep, credit manager, store manager, dc office you name it to complain and i kept on being told we are sending someone soon. Days, weeks and now finally months went by and still not one person has had the decency to contact us. I decided to stop payment and just see what will happen! Will Joshua Doore now see that a client is needing attention... Well what do you know, Yesterday an attorney rocked up at my home address something Joshua Doore had a problem finding... with a letter of DEMAND for payment. After that type of service do they really expect payment on damaged goods. Pathetic SERVICE!! Lets see how long they take to respond to this post..
