Game Stores failing to cancel cellphone contract

I took out a vodacom account through Game stores in East London on 12 February 2013. The lady that was helping me is Carol Roberts. When I arrived home I discovered that the phone had no network so between 13-18 February 2013 I went to Game Stores on a daily basis to report to them that that the phone was not working. On the 6th day (18 February 2013) I returned the phone back to Game Stores and cancelled the contract. To my suprise, Vodacom is still sending me a bill and it is now sitting at R4800.00 and when I told them that I cancelled the contract within 6 days as I was given a faulty phone and game was not doing anything to assist me, they say I must sort it out with Game Stores and they are threatening to blacklist me. I have reported this to Mr Sasa who is a store manager at Game Stores but nothing has been done up to now which I find wrong from the side of Game Stores as they are the ones at fault. Please help me
