UNHELPFUL MRS SPANNENBERG

I bought a big box of Snacktime biscuits over Dec for the holidays only to find when I recently opened it that most of the biscuits were broken & decided to return them. my dog also received a collar for Xmas but it is too big for her so wanted to return/exch this as well. I do not have the till slips for either of the items. Mrs Spannenberg at Cape Gate refused to assist me in any way to return/exch them, the more I tried to tell her I do not keep my grocery slips (who in their right mind does, except her) the more she insisted on it. I have been a loyal customer of this chain store for over 18 years and tonight I was labelled a and an untrustworthy person. Checkers managers motto is "We aim to please" but unfortunately not where it concerns this manager, January is the month where one can return unwanted gifts (collar) without a till slip but not according to her. I am extremely disappointed in the unfriendly/unhelpful manner of this supervisor. I am still sitting with a box of biscuits that I can do nothing with. who at Checkers has the authority to prove me wrong and show that they do aim to please. I await your response
