Very long story short. My Defy stove caught fire, i am not happy with Defy's report. I have been in contact with HiFi Corporation for WEEKS asking what is the procedure to be followed if the customer is not happy with the manufacturers report. No answer from Lynda at HiFi Corp. She has called me once in the WEEKS this has been going on for, only to say she will call me back, which she has not. I have no proof that my complaint/request has even left store level and gone through to head office. My stove caught fire, Defy is blaming me saying i left it on! Many factors to this story and no body wants to listen!! FED UP. DISGUSTED at the customer service received from HiFi Corporation. Sad reality is i do not have funds to get an attorney, but when i do mention to HiFi Corp that i want to, i get a msg via via store staff that Lynda says i must go ahead and get an attorney and forward her my letter i send to him. Come on HiFi Corporation, im asking a simple question, What is the procedure if the customer does not agree with the manufacturers report? and when or if someone gets back to me, find out all the facts, such as Defy's report excludes the burnt power cable!!
