Atrocious lack of stock

Kloof Street Checkers have recently been revamped, and after months of terrible building circumstances for consumers and parts of the store being closed, it has reopened with great fanfare and media exposure. All subsequent visits to the store have however been greatly disappointing: the shelves are bare and basic products (Tampax tampons, Tuffy black bags, glade car freshener, sweet potatoes, cans of coke zero) were not in stock. On a Monday afternoon at 17:00. The staff is uninformed and unhelpful. For a store in an affluent area in the centre of a city, this lack of stock is disgraceful.
